Welcome to my worktable

Heritage made by hand.Honouring the past, shaped for future use.

I'm Anusuya. I knot macramé bags, stitch and paint potlis, paint placemats, string beads into earrings and sew cloth dolls. Each piece on this page is one I made myself, and most are the only one of their kind.

My story

Why I make things by hand

I have always liked arts and crafts as a way to bring joy into people's lives. Added to this is the way traditional crafts stand out in a modern home, bringing a perfect harmony of the old with the new. Over the years, this keen interest of mine has turned into knotting cord, stitching ribbon into roses, painting on cloth, threading beads and sewing dolls.

Everything on this page was made at my own worktable, one piece at a time. When you buy something from me, you are buying it directly from the person who made it.

With love,

Anusuya
